Insane FR "Prayer" Calls For OUTRIGHT THEOCRACY
Well it's not like they're asking for MUCH....

Believe it or not the Rev.'s name is Dutch Sheets!! How Elmer Gantry-esque. #5 IS CALLING FOR AN AMERICAN TALIBAN STATE. NICE.

Check it out:
---------------------------------------------------------------

) Ask God for more time. Pray that Terri not die, even if God has to keep her alive supernaturally for awhile.

(note: WTF?????)

2) Repent on behalf of our nation for allowing death to rule through greed and selfishness. Repent for our complacency and dullness to the horrible genocide in America through abortion and other means.

3) Ask God for mercy on us.

4) Stand against this spirit of death. Make biblical decrees against it. Decree that America's covenant with death will be broken (Isaiah 28:15,18), as well as anything else He gives you to pray and decree.

5) Do not turn this over to the courts. It may appear that they have the final say but they don't. For too long, the church has failed to realize that we have more authority on earth than any human institution. We lose by default. Take this situation out of their hands and rule through spiritual authority and weapons. (This is also all about the spiritual battle that is taking place over the ungodly element in our courts.

6) Pray for Governor Jeb Bush. Pray that, like the midwives in Egypt, he refuses to honor this decree of death. Pray that he realizes he is an Esther, placed where he is for such a time as this. Pray that he makes the same stand she did – "If I perish, I perish, but I will do what is right in the sight of God" (see Esther 4:16). Pray against fear, compromise and political spirits. Pray for wisdom, strength and boldness. He is a good man and fighting hard. Undergird him.

2. That annoys me
Esther would not pimp Jesus for political gain.

Unintended irony. Oh well, you get the general idea. Esther is the inspiring person out of the Bible for me and I just resent this sheer idiocy.

Rant over.

3. Reminds me of a funny story (have to laugh, its just too much)
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 08:20 PM by Jacobin
I live in the deepest darkest red place in the country, or at least one of them. A friend of mine who is also a democrat was asking a farmer friend of his why he was a republican. The farmer friend scratches his head, thinks a while and mumbles something about wanting prayer in schools.

My friend says "Frank, when's the last time you were in a church?" They both start laughing.

I'm glad the fundies are showing their true nature. They are completely fucking bonkers. Middle america needs to see this....in living color.

It's a forum of facisim and all about control and not thinking. If you can control what the people think you have them hook, line and sinker.

6. Responce
1) Ask God for more time. Pray that Terri not die, even if God has to keep her alive supernaturally for awhile.
Screw healing her, let's have her life a life of crappy quality.

2) Repent on behalf of our nation for allowing death to rule through greed and selfishness. Repent for our complacency and dullness to the horrible genocide in America through abortion and other means.
Abortion? What about Iraq? What about the expensive healthcare people can't pay for that causes some deaths? How about stopping the greed of CEOs and other Republicians?

3) Ask God for mercy on us.
Sorry, god is fresh out.

4) Stand against this spirit of death. Make biblical decrees against it. Decree that America's covenant with death will be broken (Isaiah 28:15,18), as well as anything else He gives you to pray and decree.
Bible is god yet you want god to revise it? I thought that was the purpose of each translation.

Please, god, don't let judges make rulings on laws. We don't need a democractic government.

Jeb Bush for president? Nice way to say dynasty. If the Bush family is meant to represent god on Earth, then Rupaul is queen of England.

10. American fundamentalist Christians . . . (or, more accurately, . . .
pseudo-Chritians . . . or Christianoids) . . . represent a more direct and destructive threat to this country than any other form of fundamentalism, nationalism, or any other ism . . . they're more dangerous to the U.S. and what it stands for (or used to stand for) than the Taliban, the Iraq insurgency, the North Koreans, or anyone else . . .

once you realize this rather disturbing fact, you begin to understand just how precarious things are right now . . . these people are not going away, and they're not going to change their minds . . . and they have an enourmous (and thoroughly inappropriate and/or illegal) hold on our government (whom the rigged voting system will keep in office indefinitely) . . . they're spun positively (if not glowingly) by the MSM, and people actually believe they're Christians . . .

these are scary fuckers . . .

14. Oh, more unadulterated heathenism to mock....

1) Ask God for more time. Pray that Terri not die, even if God has to keep her alive supernaturally for awhile.
(note: WTF?????)

You didn't know this, but their 'God' does magic. If it weren't for magic, they wouldn't even believe in Him. Yes, their spiritual world and theology is a special-case materialism.

2) Repent on behalf of our nation for allowing death to rule through greed and selfishness. Repent for our complacency and dullness to the horrible genocide in America through abortion and other means.

Check the mirrors, fellas. How about first atoning for the genocide your Very Christian ancestors created and profitted from.

3) Ask God for mercy on us.

These Pharisees and pagans-with-a-Christian-facade always need it.

4) Stand against this spirit of death. Make biblical decrees against it. Decree that America's covenant with death will be broken (Isaiah 28:15,18), as well as anything else He gives you to pray and decree.

The Christian Right's 'Christianity' is a death-fearing/worshipping occultism. For all their supposed love of life, they're surprisingly willing to leave it to those of us who will be Left Behind, if I understand what they say. And they love End Times. Which is typical of a dying culture.

5) Do not turn this over to the courts. It may appear that they have the final say but they don't. For too long, the church has failed to realize that we have more authority on earth than any human institution. We lose by default. Take this situation out of their hands and rule through spiritual authority and weapons. (This is also all about the spiritual battle that is taking place over the ungodly element in our courts.)

Translation: More 'Christian' magic and occultism. More 'prayer warriors' and Republican hypocrites, liars, and abusers of the 14th Amendment. More killing. Marcionism and Manichaeanism, welcome to the 21st century!

I'll add the one Jesus said on the Cross : Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Very interesting that they also invoke Esther- who, in a transparently fictional and allegorical book probably intended to illustrate the errors of occultism, murdered in the name of God. I pray that like e e cummings's Olaf Big And Strong, there is Shit They Will Not Eat dispensed by their leaders, but it is doubtful.

As an ex-Christian, I'm always struck how the people who most understand the Bible ultimately walk away from organized Christianity. And those whose understanding is utterly superficial become SuperChristians. It's a well known paradox that both Mark Twain and Gandhi commented upon, and quite a few others too (like Niebuhr).

"Take this situation out of their hands and rule through spiritual authority and weapons."

Sounds like terrorism to me. Call Homeland Security! Find out what library books these kooks are reading! Invade their homes and seize their weapons. Hold them in Gitmo without charges and no legal representation!

Scary shit. I wonder what Jesus would pack. I'm guessing He would go for a Kalashnikov. No. Wait! Jesus would be an officer. He would pack a 45. The rest of the squad (the disciples) would tote Kalashnikovs and hump a mortar.
