Why the shciavo case matters
I know I know, many of you are TIRED of this but read why it matters

The Right wants to end YOUR and MY Medical Privacy and make all medical decisions for you. So you want to have a lving will, it is against the culture of life you see, you can't and we won't recognize it. Roe v Wade, you have to be kidding me? So you want this surgery, we won't alllow it too risky. This is also another front in the abortion battle

People need to undersand, terri did NOT want this... her husband is FOLLOWING her wishes, and under Florida law he superseedes the parents, who are funded in this fight by Mellon Scaiffe, and Focus on the Family. (And they are the ones being used)

This brings me to the next issue... get a living will, and talk to your family. As I told my husband, if I am ever in that condition, pull the plug... don't wait, pull the plug, let me go and go on with your life.

Oh and one more thing.... the Republcians are also using this case for a FRONTAL ATTACK on the separation of powers. The case mattered very little UNTIL Congress got involved. then it oppened a gaggle of Constitutinal questions, starting with, drum roll... Congress CANNOT write a bill for one person... that is IN the Constitution and it sent shivers down my back. the reason for that was George III tendency to use Parlaiment to do exactly that. Just imagine the potencial for abuse of power...

1. So, What's New??
Abuse of Power is what this administration is ALL about. I'm sure you're aware of this fact.

I'm totally outraged by their audacity here, but then I've been outraged for so long now I'm not sure how to feel otherwise. And once again, MY Senator, Bill Nelson ducked again!!

I know there are those of you who say that ANY Democrat is better than a Repuke, but I say NOT IF he basically falls right behind Mel Martinez! The vote for Martinez was so close that I STILL doubt that there was definite Election Fraud on his part.

As each day goes by, and as we see more and more of this abuse I can only say I'm determined to let others know EXACTLY how I feel. I still have bumper sticker all over my car and even on my mailbox. I used to write Nelson, but it's useless. I sign EVERY petition that comes down the pike and I'm involved as much as I possibly can be.

One last thing, does ANYONE know of a good candidate to run against Bill Nelson in 2006???

Ya Hear That Bill Nelson?????

2. See I have a wonderful Sentator by the name of
Feinstein... I told her office a while ago that if she was on the ticket I was voting Green. She is not a DINO, she is a Repuke with a D after her name.

So don't take your anger at Nelson on me

Teh reason why I bothered pointing out why this case matters is most people are missing the Constitutional matters (and the Stenography corp has yet to even mention the word Constitution)...

3. I Think I UNDERSTOOD The Point You Were Making
I was just commenting that "abuse of power" has been in full force for a long time.

Of course, the constitution is your primary focus that's why they didn't actually tell the physicians to put the feeding tube back in. It's not "supposed" to be allowed!! Many of the congressmen knew this, but some thought they could get away with it.

It's my understanding that when it went to the Senate just one word was changed. The word "can" was replaced by "may"!

I've been interjecting Nelson in a lot of my posts, and since this IS Florida, and this IS the place that JEB seems to own, I felt compelled to interject it AGAIN. Didn't mean to offend you.

Just one more factoid! I have a Trifecta going for me... my Congress-person is Katherine Harris!!! I'm just a little peeved!
