Seriously! Why does Bush have all this free time to shill his SS plan?
I know, I know. But shouldn't someone ask WHY he has the time to campaign non-stop for this? Aren't there any important problems to attend to in Washington? Why is the current administration so shameless in letting it be known that the President is not needed in the White House, and that he has all the time in the world to prance around the country pitching his latest corporate profiteering plan? It's rather shocking when you think about it. I mean, you have to imagine that he is the real President, and then you'll see what I mean.

5. I understand that and you understand that

but I am asking why everybody else including the press takes it for granted and asks no questions. Some people actually believe that Bush is president - including every member of this week's Meet the Press pundit panel. So why don't they ask why he is completely unnecessary in the WH? Isn't it logical to wonder, providing you make the assumption that Bush is President?

8. Unfortunately logic has nothing to do with it. It's all emotion.
Be afraid, be very afraid of:

terrorists

Saddam

Social Security

Taxes

Democrats who will come to your hospital and kill you.

3. SS
Well, as long as he's getting paid to sit there like a log and spit the crap that Karl Rove put into the tape deck in his cyborg body then he's going to continue to do it. What I want to know is why nobody on the Democrat side is making any alternative to the Bush plan. I mean if we roll back the tax cuts on the wealthiest Americans and cut Halliburton's allowance that daddy Cheney gives them every week then maybe we can afford to fix Social Security. Maybe the Dems in Congress should be more vocal about an alternative plan to take the steam out of the attack that Rove has now that Dems don't have a plan. Which, very sadly, for the most part is true.

10. Shilling
The longer he pitches to his hand picked pretend audiences the worse his idea of a theory of outline of a program is doing with the public. Granted, the media could be more circumspect about his vagaries.

12. You know what's funny as hell?
He doesn't even have a PLAN. He has no details, nothing to offer. He's merely bopping around, repeating the words crisis and personal accounts over and over.

Where's the PLAN?

13. Because Bu$h is totally superfluous. He is a supernumerary.
Bu$h is a walking, talking redundancy. How else could he take over 40% of his time in vacation?

14. Yes, but by sending him on the road for 60 days they are ADMITTING it
They are not even pretending any more that he does any presidenting in his spare time. They admit that he is nothing but a full-time travelling salesman. Why doesn't anyone (MSM) question this?

15. Ah, lordy. * and McCain should just
get a room. I'm sick of seeing those two playing kissy-kissy.

On topic, * is free as long as Congress continues to provide him cover with the never ending circus.
