Dear Congresswoman,

What is it that Delay and the rest of the thugs are trying to do? They tell us that they respect life ... right ... another fairy tale they want to tell us? They are attempting, very effectively mind you, to fire up the base. They are using a WHITE woman, who left a very muddy living will, to destroy the separation of powers in the US. What they are attempting to do is subvert the Constitution, and they are being effective about it.

What else is the Terri case being used for? In case you missed it, Saturday was the second anniversary of the debacle in Iraq. For a party that loves live, not talking about the caskets coming home from the Iraq Theater of Operations is paramount. We don't want to remind the people that non brain dead people are dying over there.

Primarily I am concerned about their frontal attack on the US Constitution and the minority. They hate both, and they prove it every day, but the Shiavo case proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that at least some in the current Republican Leadership HATE the Constitution and the freedoms it gives to her people. If they could, they would abrogate it and create a monarchy, a right wing monarchy, or just a dictatorship. Remember it was the President who said, that things would be far easier if he were a dictator. I fear they are moving in that direction.

PS. As a student of history I know exactly what is going on. The Nazis used medicine as well to advance their agenda. I fear we have crossed the Rubicon, and just like the Socialist and the Liberals of the 1930s, the Democrats are just playing second fiddle incapable of calling a duck a duck, even when it quacks and swims. Enough already, what you are seeing are fascists, call them such regularly. Is this political suicide? Only if one or two does it, but if the whole Democratic party grows some 'nads and starts calling these fascists well fascists, we may have a chance to avoid the dark night.
