1. Congress needs to be careful
Because they are essentially saying that marriage doesn't override the rights of a parent to a child which weakens marriage dramatically as a legal institution.

2. Congress doesn't give a shit about strengthening marriage
(except when it comes to keeping it away from them "goddamned homos")

Look at all the Congressional role models in the last decade. Newt, Hyde, Livingston, Barr, Burton, Chenoweth, etc.

It's a family matter. 1% thinks Tom Delay should decide. I suspect that 1% was Tom Delay himself. He definitely needs to stop calling this murder. It's slightly more complicated than that and even dumbass freepers understand that, unfortunately there's no help for the fundies. Their condition is inoperable.

All I know is, this proves the point to EVERYONE - get a living will! It's probably going to be the most important legal document any of us could own.
