Yes, there is a real "crisis"....

But it's not in SS. It is in the White House and the Congress and the US Senate. It is in the miguided policies of George W Bush and the Republican Party. They have created a fiscal "crisis" of gigantic proportion. It is starting to dawn on moderate Republicans also.

There is a crisis. There is a crisis with our federal deficits. There is a crisis with our loss of jobs and our trade deficits. There is a crisis in our healthcare system. There is a crisis in our military recruitment and the continued desire to fight wars around the world. There is a crisis in Medicare. There is a crisis in confidence in our government. George Bush is correct. There is a "crisis". In fact, there are several of them - most of them brought about by politicians following his lead.
