Bob Graham's #1 Fan

None other than Florida Senator Mel Martinez.

According to his donation history, Mel gave Bob Graham $1000 in the 1985 primary.

I know he used to be a Democrat but I still find it ironic that the man that wanted to take Bob Graham's seat was a big enough fan to give him $1000 10 years ago.

In a bit more recent history, he gave to everybody's favorite Democrat at the moment, Joe Biden, in 89 and Fritz Hollings in 90.


The first time he ever gave to a Repub was Bob Dole's 96 campaign.

I find it kind of funny how somebody can give thousands of dollars to Democrats while holding positions that are the complete opposite of democratic principles. Oh well.
