The bankruptcy bill would choke off the entrepreneurial spirit
An interesting point I heard today on Al Franken's show.

Lots of people go out on a limb to start new businesses, borrowing up to their eyeballs, often on credit cards. Lots of those businesses fail, but many times they succeed. This is how a lot of the largest companies today got started way back when.

Currently, if you try to start a business and fail, you can fall back on bankruptcy. But if the new bill passes and you can't do that any more, it seems to me there are going to be a lot fewer people taking risks and starting new businesses.

The Republicans are actually strangling business development with this bill.

3. The bankruptcy bill is an abomination,
it's another sign that 'the axis of evil' lies here, in the U.S.

Perhaps one day the sleeping masses will awake from their stress-induced stupor.

4. Only when they have relatives pitching a tent in the back yard
because they have nowhere else to go. Only when they get sick and realize those copays are going to eat up their savings very quickly, and leave them facing the loss of everything they worked for with no protection.

These poor fools aren't being told anything about this by the MSM. They're going around thinking they're still protected, that the bill was against all those "other" people who were living it up on cruises and vacations in the tropics on their credit cards while THEY kept their noses to the grindstone.

It's going to be a rude awakening for a lot of people out there, I think, and a lot of us are going to be badly hurt by this thing.
