6. the fact that Gore's "voice" is quashing the story...

...is a real puzzler. Bob Somerby's attack on liberal bloggers reeks of something. Perhaps it's fear of competition. Perhaps it's more nefarious. His frantic and heavy-handed urging that the story be dropped is a real warning. I think I hear a mockingbird.
