WE NEED OUR OWN VOICE!!!
We're NOT getting IT!!!

Because we, the Dem's are STILL allowing the Pubbies to FRAME
whatever argument there is... And as long as we continue to do that,
we will continue to lose... WE NEED OUR OWN VOICE!!!

1. Welcome to DU
You are right - We need our own language to frame the debate. Any ideas on things we are not getting that should be framed differently?

3. An idea
paint the repukes for what they are: people who are interested more in profits and power than in helping people and protecting the Constitution. I've thought of making up a flyer and putting them in the doors of local repukes saying:

When you voted for Bush, did you give him a mandate to take away our Social Security?

When you voted for Bush, did you give him permission to shortchange returning veterans, denying or delaying benefits so that some of them have lost their homes?

When you voted for Bush, did you want him to think more about helping corporations by allowing them no-bid contracts in Iraq than helping make Iraq a safe and stable country?

These would include facts from mainstream sources.

2. let's see
The repub's have taken God, the family, morals and values, and drawn a big divisive line. The repubs get all the manly stuff and we get all the girlie stuff. They have Authority and never waver or say sorry. we have the bleeding hearts. We do need to re frame. And I don't think it will be to out do them on what the do best. I think it should be about out doing ourselves at what we do best. Things like health, education and welfare. things like civil rights, minority rights. I'm even glad Hillary is giving a voice to the felons, who have lost their right to vote. Anybody know the policy for other countries?
