Has anybody wondered why people have stopped getting their heads chopped
Edited on Sat Feb-19-05 04:19 PM by Vinnie From Indy
off in Iraq lately? One would think that if these "terrorists" had a penchant for separating heads from bodies on video they would still be doing it. Why have they stopped? Isn't it odd that the first round of beheadings came at a time when Shrub was under the gun for torturing folks at Abu Graihb (sp?). I am continually astounded at the timing of atrocities or terror warnings and how some story always pops up to knock a growing scandal out of the headlines.

What are the odds that some poor bastard is being lined up to donate his head to ShrubCo. Enterprises if the Gaggin' Jimmy Jeff Gannon Guckert Bulldog MellenCougar story heats up even more?

1. If a head falls in the forest ...
... and the corporate media doesn't report it, was there really a gurgling sound?

2. I've wondered this too...
I've noticed that there have been no beheadings since November 2, yet prior to that date, there seemed to be one every few weeks or so through the summer.

"Why?" I ask myself...

5. Well, specualtion always had the Berg beheding as suspicious,
to say the least. A lot of us in medicine pointed out that the exsnaguination that occurred had to be postmortem. (Translation: the blood didn't spray everywhere, so he was already dead)

Others pointed out the amount of jewelry worn by the supposed Islamic fundies was a great contradiction.

Others pointed out that the were all astonishingly well fed for Iraqis.

Others pointed out that the ID tape was identical to the one made of every prisoner in US custody, and had been spliced.

Who knows? All we do know is that it distracted the media and the dummies from the very real torture going on under and fully approved by the junta.

7. I do think it's interesting
I hadn't thought about it until you brought it up. We also don't hear anymore about who in the military has died. I do remember not long after everything started whenever it was known some died they would have a memory thing on MSNBC. I haven't seen anything like that in months.

8. Excellent question
hmm...it's almost as if the terrorists wanted to help Bush's re-election and are now satisfied that he won.

or maybe they are still being beheaded but the MSM doesn't report it unless the white house wants them to.

We really haven't seen or heard much from Osama either. what's up with that? Maybe he'll pop up when they try to destroy Social Security and have another attack to stop Hillary from being elected. It's almost as if the terrorists are collaborating with the Republicans.

coincidence? I'll believe that when my shit turns purple and leprechauns fall from the sky.

9. What do you want to bet we found beheaded soldiers?
And that would not play too well for Mr/Mrs America-

they would want the boys home. Think about it.
