Poll question: DNC Grassroots Survey of Democratic Leaders, Question #2
This is the 2nd Question on the DNC survey I received in the mail today.

Which of the following statements most closely matches your view when it comes to extending the life of Social Security?

1. You forgot:
Raise the ceiling at which high income individuals quit paying payroll taxes and...

Stop raiding the trust fund.

3. I agree, but that choice isn't on the DNC survey...
and that surprises me.

2. Cut For Higher Incomes
And good grief, have some sort of living expense index based on location. So may retirees move to Florida 'cos it's cheaper, so we are disproprotionately affected, especially when it comes to medicare. It gets even worse when the federal government cuts the subsidies it gives the states and the Governor, who could appeal to his brother (talk about political capital, Jeb delivered the state for Dubya in 2000) doesn't give a crap.

5. That was my thought, too. However...
This survey seems to ask some questions that don't have an obvious answer for any generic democrat, which makes me think perhaps it is possible it will actually be taken into account.
