Is O'Malley Screwed?
He is the Democratic mayor of Baltimore, heavily-favored Gubernatorial candidate (MD), could beat Ehrlich...now two scandals in two days.

Yesterday- O'Malley denies infidelity, and blames rumors on Ehrlich staffer (who was fired over the incident)
Today - Likens Bush's tax cuts to September 11th, in that they both attack our cities (isn't it hypocritical that a DEMOCRAT is being accused of politicizing 9/11?)

Anyway, is he done for? I hope not, because I think he would be a good candidate.

5. Scandal #1 hurts Erlich, not Marty. Scandal #2 is no scandal at all. (nt)

6. He'll come out of this a "hero" for standing up to the fascists.
As long as he is honest, clean, and not subject to the "set-up" he will be a rising star in the Dem party. Unstoppable.

7. Sept 11 hit our economic infrastructure...
now, with over $200Billion in burden for the neocons fiasco towards this war, seems cities will have to pay,...especially if they haven't bled neocon red enough to smear its base of blue.

8. No, we just reelected him.
Fortunately the Repugs only fixed the top button on the voting machine to vote republican for George, it was dems for me all the way down the ticket. (Tried to vote for Kerry but the machine keep voting for George). Anyway, we like O'Malley, he sometimes gets carried away but he's one of the few people to stand up to GWB consistently and say that we need help here with Homeland Security,
and No Child Left Behind, etc. But he's had a tough time of it, since '00, it's been no lobbyist left behind in DC, as you all know!

Miss Waverly, I hope he doesn't blame all bloggers for the freepers
and their spreading rumors about his family.
