I predict...
that the The United Iraqi Alliance, endorsed by Iraq's top Shiite clerics, including Sistani who is Iranian, will win. And this is bad because Sistani has ties to Iran.

And if shrub decides to start a war with Iran in the future, we have now trained the Iraqi army to fight against us. How ironic!!

5. I remember...
during the fight to Bagdad, the Iranians mullas were saying that they will stay out of it for now, but after it's over "we will reap our rewards." Looks like its coming into play. I wonder if the FushBush administration knew this might happen.

6. Here's the question. What will the mullahs do about our 12 permanent
military bases? Very interesting. That's obviously where a *load of the money has gone but the bases are on Iraqi soil? I don't thing that * and company can think let alone anticipate. Sure glad we didn't use that $200 billion for something useful like stem cell research, alternative energy, prescription drug relief, or the pending eco catastrophes. That would have taken us off of our "grand game."

7. All I know is...
that the Arabs believe that Bagdad is considered a holy place....The Birth of Civilization. It's like some foreign country invading the Vatican or Jeruselem....holy land. I guess BuckFush didnt put that into account when he decided to spread democracy all over the world. God, I wish he would get a clue!!!

8. When they didn't like the democratically elected ruler
of IRAN, Mossadeq, they shoved him out and installed the Shah "by popular acclaim." The truth of the matter is that you can see the crowds waving dollar bills (handed out to foster attendance) in the pictures of the demonstrations supporting said Shah. The orange cab drivers made a small fortune that day, ferrying paid demonstrators.

If we haven't already come to some kind of clever accord with Sistani, we will, eventually, so long as the boyking has a say. If Sistani doesn't play ball he could end up on the bad end of things. Alternatively, maybe he's already in our pocket. Or maybe he's made a sidebar deal with Chalabi, who has been spending time in Iran lately. We'll have a better idea once they sort out the pecking order, assuming they don't stuff the ballot box, or who knows what.
