If I were to watch the state of delusion tonight, I would become deathly ill.
I would not allow that filth into my house where it would expose my children the lies bu$h propagates.

16. No. For the first time in 20+ years, I'm willfully avoiding it.
I tolerated Ronnie Raygun's bag-of-hammers stupidity, Poppy Bush's wimpiness, Billy-Jeff's triangulation, and for three years, the PNAC puppet act we know as Jeebus W. Bush.

I listened to their STFU... er, SOTU addresses because I felt it was my duty as a patriotic American citizen.

This year I will be watching a rented DVD, not because I can't tolerate hearing more whoppers, tall tales, and fibs from Jeebus. Rather, I just can't stomach the idea of my Democratic "opposition" cheering ANYTHING that ratfucker has to say.

Maybe next year. But not this year. I'll read a transcript; it'll take about 1/10 the time.

33. Nah, The State of the Union speech has been replaced with
"The State of What's Left of the Union that We Who Have a Mandate are Willing to Admit to At This Time With the Understanding All Statements, Promises, Assertions, and Reasons for War May be Disallowed, Unremembered, or Blamed on Someone Else When the Occasions Arise" Speech. THAT'S the one that will be on TV tonight. I still won't be watching. I have a terrible reaction to sycophants and liars, it makes me want to hurl and curse at the same time. Lord knows the media shills will regurgitate the mumbles of the Chimp for the next several days so we will all get the opportunity to hear how bad things are going to be for the next four years without actually having to listening to the fool himself.

39. Of course; I love bad theatre, and it'll be a Leonard Pimpf-Garnell doozy
Last year's was SO bad: it was idiotic and chickenshit (didn't even mention Mars) with feeble attempts to grandstand about things of great import like sports doping. The one before had the ring of history to it, knowing as I did when watching that he was lying with every clunky intonation.

He's got absolutely no poetry in his soul, and his rhetorical skills rival those of Sy Sperling (he's the guy...from the...hair club...for men) with an inability to capture the spirit of a phrase or say more than six syllables without a falling inflection. He then takes a small pause and limps on with another fragment, and so on.

Tonight he'll be in fine form: beaming and smirking as he basks in the endless applause of the accolytes.

Eat afterwards, if you can; it's too risky to do it before...
