Will this be the latest SOTU address ever?
It seems to me it has always been delivered earlier than this. But you know Bush--working has never been his strong point.

8. Usually the SOTU is delivered in the latter part of January. . .
but in those years when an inaguration takes place, delivery is pushed back by a week or so. Legally, there's no definite time for the SOTU, as the Constitution directs that it shall be delivered "from time to time."
