Thank God for people willing to say "shit" when we are all choking on it!
First of all, the chance that Newsmax and CNN quoted Dean completely and accurately is about .05 %. So I would like to know what he said after he said "I hate republicans and everything about them".

But Thank God there is someone to say "SHIT" when we all have a mouthful!

To the rest of you who want to keep swallowing and gasping for Air.....see you when you've had enough.

1. When I told my husband Dean's quote
he said "What's wrong with calling a spade a spade?"

2. Sadly, I don't think the pink tutu wing of the Democratic party
will allow a fighter like Dean to have a position of national power. So the Democratic party will cease to be relevant. I'm reminded of the picture in Jon Stewart's "America" that shows the graveyards of political parties. They were digging the grave of the Democratic Party.

5. "Pink Tutu"? Are you calling them Girlie Men?
How bout calling it the "Grey Suit" wing of the Dems, since they Go Along To Get Along and want to just blend in?

Or the Wingtip arm? I would think politicians in pink tutus would be more flexible and creative than what we're witnessing.

How bout calling them the Republican wing of the Democratic party?

3. It was taken out of context....the beginning of the sentence was edited.
"I want to do what the republicans do" The quote was ABOUT the discipline and organization-the "hate the republicans" was a caveat.

7. Excuse me if it comes off sounding whiny and childish
to say "I hate them and everything they stand for".
"Hate" is exactly the word we need to avoid using. I hate them too, but I don't publicly exclaim it. I know it turns off moderates and other people we need to win- so good luck getting 45% of extreme "hating" liberals to the polls, while coming up 5% short.
We will get no support beyond our base relying on this kind of language.

8. If the "moderates and other people we need to win"...
...don't hate them, they aren't paying attention. The DLC plan is to use misinformation, pandering and outright lying to rope those people in, rather than telling them the truth and risking their outrage. I used to be moderate, still am to a large degree. I still hate them, and I'll continue to say so publicly, because I don't have my f'n head in the sand. They are ruining my childrens future, I should be expected no less vociferous a reaction than were they to invade my home and threaten my kids bodily.
