ANOTHER $80 Billion?!?
Is it just me, or is anybody else thinking the same thing as I am: ANOTHER $80 billion for the war? Isn't it a bit strange how the amout he's asking for is the exact same amount he asked for when the war began?!? Hmm...more about this story here:

http://www.comcast.net/News/DOMESTIC//XML/1107_AP_Online_Regional___Middle_East/72e23cf8-fb46-44f9-93fb-aa38dcb13409.html

Hmm..interesting...are we sure it's ALL going towards the war efforts in Iraq? If so, why are our soldiers still begging for sufficient body armor? Where is this $80 billion REALLY going to?

1. This time Congress should demand a full accounting
Enough of this bullshit. There has already been two (?) separate appropriations for the Iraq war, and our soldiers are still struggling to be properly equipped. Someone should challenge the Republicans to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, and demand a full accounting of every cent that gets spent if they choose to pass this appropriation.

2. Considering they have barely spent the money for rebuilding Iraq
we coughed up last time, I wonder what this money is for. Are we upping Cheney's credit card limit again. So soon?

3. It's kind of like buying a new house then watching it burn to the ground
knowing your kids are in the house and knowing you didn't get around to buying insurance. Money well spent.

4. I think he should borrow it from his daddy...let them pay
out of their own damn pockets for wars! I know, it'll never happen..

How about: "Not in my/our Name and Not with MY/our MONEY!"
