Did you hear the Freeper on NPR?
They had a guy from Free Republic on NPR last night that said ANSWER and Code Pink had allied themselves with Osama Bin Laden and the terrorists, and that giving them a bleacher permit in DC was like giving Saddam Hussein bleachers at the parade.

WTF is with THEM and with NPR???

2. Hmm. That's the second time in a week NPR reported the
protestors ties to OBL through a FReeper spokesperson. What is their agenda anyhow?

8. you're on. The first one was when they were interviewing about
access for protestors and worshippers. The FReeper made the same exact comment and they reported it. To do it a second time seems like they want to reinforce that thought in listeners' minds.

It is definately worth a call so they know we are watching them. :-)

4. You'd have to have lived in a cave...
... with no radio for the last 3 years if you don't know that NPR is officially National Propaganda Radio.

They don't even make an effort to be balanced, you will hear a hour of bullshit from the right and 30 seconds of carefully watered down talk from the left.

For goodness sakes - anyone here who is still sending these traitors and whores money, please STOP.

7. I've had it with FreeRepublic.com
What kinds of non-violent things can we do to fuck with them?

6. NPR had a fawning interview with Karl Rove yesterday
It was pretty puke-inducing... :puke:

I understand that he's newsworthy just because of his position of power within the Bush administration. But the whole tone of the interview was pretty obsequious IMO.

9. There is nothing wrong ..
... with interviewing Rove. But what do WE get. WE get Donna Brazile spouting the usual appeasement horseshit that passes for the Dem point of view.

Please people, find a more appropriate use of your media dollars.

11. Last pledge drive, I pledged my usual, then sent a letter
that said they have yet to earn it. Begging wasn't enough.

They will not receive a check this year, that's a promise.

I still listen to "Prairie Home Companion" because I love Keillor, but hell, let someone else fund it. If I have to, I'll send my money straight to Mr. Keillor.

18. That's their nature
They are obsequious. They're a bunch of little wimps who need a big government to be their daddy. They're like a gang of Igors, eating all the bugs someone like Rove will allow them.

12. Here's the link to NPR's contact list
http://www.npr.org/contact /

Let them know you're not donating anymore. Not that it will do much good, but at least they might get a clue as to why no one takes them seriously anymore.

several times on the phone and in writing. I will continue to do so. And not one damn dime of my money for them.
