Are Democrats and the media intimidated by the Bush regime?
After all, they look over their shoulders at Tom Daschle packing his bags to get out of town because he was targeted by the Bushies. We see Dan Rather de-legitimized on all the cable networks by the Bushies. The lesson they all have seemed to learn is that it is not wise to cross the Bush Administration if you have hopes of maintaining your position of power in Washington.

As we see a media that seems fearful to criticize, even when the nation screams out for the truth. No, mustn't tell the truth, it might make someone angry at the White House and they will come after me, and I will lose my job or my seat in Congress. Best to sit quietly in the background...

2. Maybe, yes.....
but remember that once one person, media outlet, group, stand up to the Bushies, others will gather around and soon become a force to be reconed with.

That's the value of what Senator Barbara Boxer has done. She stood up to Bush and survived. Soon, others will join her until "little Boots" is a lonely, isolated and pathetic figure.

3. The broadcast media are not intimidated; they are part of the Bush**

4. The Congressional Democrats are just
beginning to feel the heat. They have no choice but to fight. That too remains to be seen...Boxer is the leader here.

The media is republican owned and will only let the right-wing propaganda be heard. I sense many journalist support the Democratic view but will not risk loosing a paycheck.

6. As a Democrat
I can say I am not at all intimidated by the Bush Adminstration. If I ever get close to George W. Bush I would kick the son of a bitch right in the fucking head. Hows that for intimidation???
