3. Think of it this way.

If Boxer did that, the media and right would be relentless in their attack on her. However, by raising all of the other issues Rice has failed in, Boxer has put all of the heat on Rice and the whupping she delivered on her.

It's a shame we can't have more an open discussion of the security issues prior to 9/11, but since Democrats cannot collectively raise the issue, it would be too much of a burden for individuals to bring it up.

If any Dem really wants to prevent that from happening, he/she has to go for the jugular and say what finally needs to be said.
