They will choose the nuclear option instead of diplomacy-Iran
The special forces teams in Iran (and probably other countries that are a threat to the Bush version of Christianity) aren't looking for hard targets to take out in the name of the Patriot Act, they're looking for places where Wolfowitz, Feith, Rumsfeld, and all the other Neo-Cons can have their ultimate orgasm, dropping a nuke and swinging the big dick of nuclear supremacy at the non-Christian world.

The army is tapped out and the equipment is broken. There are no reserves available, and if North Korea gets out of control, it's over. This criminal administration will drop a nuke as fast as they convince the lemmings that it is the only option to prevent the spread of Terra.

Mark my words, these people will change the world forever to try and bring Armageddon upon the Muslim nations that oppose them.

Senate Votes for More Nukes

The U.S. Senate on Tuesday backed the Bush administration's plan to study a new generation of low-yield and earth-penetrating nuclear weapons, rejecting concerns that the research could spur an arms race.

Voting 55-42, the Senate defeated an amendment pushed by Democrats to slash $36.6 million to study so-called bunker-busting nuclear weapons that would be used to destroy underground facilities as well as smaller nuclear arms with half the yield of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

Bush Administration Wants Lower Nuclear Threshold
Deep Penetrators and Baby Nukes

With thousands of fission and fusion bombs of all sizes left over from the Cold War, one would have thought there were enough doomsday weapons on hand for the US military, but not so!

The president's 2004 budget contains a request for the repeal of a 1993 law that prohibits the development of weapons with an explosive yield of less than 5 kilotons. This, in addition to a Defense Department request to develop a "Deep Penetrator" bomb with a yield of 100 kilotons to, ostensibly destroy buried nuclear production laboratories.

One kilo ton = 1,000 tons of the chemical explosive TNT and the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was estimated as having the explosive yield of 20 kilotons.

The 1993 law was passed by Congress to prohibit "Baby Nukes" of less than 5 kilotons which might lower the threshold for using nuclear weapons.

"Deep Penetrator" bombs also known as "Bunker Busters" would penetrate deeply into the earth before exploding causing underground caves, excavations and bunkers to collapse. North Korea reportedly has a hidden uranium enrichment facility and three nuclear production facilities in excavations under mountains.

A policy review ordered by President Bush in 2002 said that the Deep Penetrator was "...vital to defending the US against emerging threats posed by terrorist groups."

Representative Ellen Taucher, a California Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee said, in criticizing the repeal of the law, " I don't see how we look at all the nuclear wannabes in the face ..."

1. Do "bunker busters" even work?
Someone clear this up. The last I heard, the delivery system could not penetrate more than about 6 feet before detonation without the benefit of "preliminary excavation" (tongue in cheek term for having a special ops group go in and dig a 10 foot hole over the target).

2. You know Bush is DYING to use nukes
I bet he dreams of the "moment to come" every night in his Haldol induced dreams.

3. Whoever thought that Bush was going to try diplomacy in his 2nd
term should be taken out in the woodshed and flogged.
