Indiana: 'Lets Ditch Mitch'
During the governors race Mitch Daniels had a slogan called...

..'My Man Mitch'.....

Now that he has destroyedd labor in the state on his first day...I hope next election we run a slogan...

6. I agree but I do not think Indiana has a recall law.
He is just getting started. He is more than likely going to raise taxes as well. He said Indiana's income tax has not been raised since 1987 or something so he is making a hint that he might want to raise it.

9. Doesn't have to be recall ...
Sowing the seeds of discontent is a long process, not to mention just making his day-to-day governing, hell.

The sooner we start, the more time and ammunition we'll have to build a kick-ass case against him when the next cycle rolls around.

7. My Bitch Mitch was really pissed over those Kernan ads
about the corporate windfalls he received while he was Dubya's butt-boy. This is only the first salvo to squash libs & dems and the stupid "family-values" crowd here. But alas- Hoosiers were all caught up in the "moral" issues and hustled to the polls to vote 'publican.
Open your mouths folks - there's lots more castor oil to come.

8. I agree...
Mitch hinted about raising taxes. He said Indiana's income tax has not be raised since 1987 or something so that means he is thinking about it. I am sure he will raise it for the bottom 90 %.

This guy is a the worse thing Indiana has ever seen in man many years. Perhaps Indiana needs to go through extreme pain and trauma in order to break itself away from the GOP.

The GOP has screwed this state for decades on end but people still thank them and ask for more.

10. I'm not a Pub-hater & have a lot of respect for Lugar and Hudnut,
but my admiration is very very low for Quayle, Daniels, and all those fundie-state house members, past & present. They screw any progress this state tries to make.

11. I have also admired Lugar
Lugar seems to be a rare breed of Republican. He is smart, rational and not trying to divide America. Mitch on the other hand will probably be more like Shrub or Goldsmith. Mitch is about to open a can of whoop ass on the poor in Indiana. I predict he will drop tens of thousands from Medicaid in his first term.

13. Well, Vinnie...What Numbers Should I pick For This Week's Lottery?
I hope every single person cut voted for him.

Daniels will seek cuts in Medicaid

"...Daniels' top human services aide, Mitch Roob, said Indiana Medicaid, which will care for an estimated 847,126 people this year, is front and center on the chopping block. Roob said state officials need to dramatically restructure the $4.65 billion state-federal program to avoid spending a total of $715.8 million more during the next two years."

14. LOL ! They have been using the same playbook for years.
Edited on Thu Jan-13-05 03:59 PM by Vinnie From Indy
The first item of business is always screwing the poor. Usually, this is followed immediately by divvying up the pie. Since Goldsmith, the most common moniker slapped on these efforts has been "privatization". To a Republican, that means "we're gonna steal stuff and give it to our friends".

12. And all the freepers and other whack jobs
at the Indy Star Politics Board are having a group orgasm...

One of the resident nitwits says this:

"Color me unsympathetic to the plight of the worker who now plays on the same field as I do."

Most jobs with the state pay less than $25,000 for full time.

They are going to be thrilled with Daniels' every move just like they are with the Idiot Son. Because to be anything else, they would have to admit that they, along with the idiots they voted into office, might be wrong. Won't happen.
