Nobody likes Kerry

I guess it's sad he wasn't blessed with a gift like Clinton or Edwards of charisma or connecting with voters. He is so unlikeable, aloof, and stiff. Every politicians personality is different I guess. It's a shame cause he looks so presidental and sounds intelligent. But no one here likes him cause he stabbed us in the back.:cry:

If he hadn't just forgotten about my state and conceeded it to Shrub. There *was* hope for the man in Tennessee in the summer, but he squandered it. He only came ONE time and that was to a veteran's gathering. There were no rallies, not GOTV efforts from the national campaign - nothing.
That's troublesome. Not just for Kerry, but for the whole party.

4. I like him.

I like him more and more as I read about him. The John Kerry Forum is wonderful. I'm gonna get a star soon, and then I'll post there. The more I learn about him the more I respect him. I don't know what to make of the election, but from what everything else I've read about him, I could never doubt his motives. He is only a person, but he is a damn good person and we will need him in the ensuing fight. He suggests that he will be involved in the fight.

23. I like Kerry - I connected with him - that should have been a hint.

I started out as ABB. During the primaries, I really liked Clark. Dean seemed too uncouth and Edwards seemed too slick.

But watching Kerry for the better part of 2004, I came to admire him very much. I identified with him and connected with him. Really connected. I can't think of anyone in political office I've admired and identified with as much as Kerry. I thought he was going to be the greatest president since FDR.

In hindsight, I guess I should have known that if I liked him so much, he was not going to do that well with 'the American people'. The books, and the bands, and the movies, and the TV shows that I REALLY like never make it to #1. Kerry at least came in a very close second.

I just got tired of so many African-American peeps saying "Kerry don't connect with me" "I miss Bill Clinton" "He don't have flava in his speech" "He's ugly" etc. I just think a lot of ignorant people played right into Bush's hands with the "We don't know or like Kerry" crap.
