Mark Dayton spoke against today's vote fraud action. That is it for me.

Dayton is a weak and vulnerable Dem Senator up for re-election in 2006. He is obviously running scared. We should drive him out of the party now and find a better candidate for the Dem primary in 2006. Al Franken has expressed some interest in running. Al should run in 2006, not in 2008.

million dollars of his own money in one losing and one winning run for the Senate. He is a notoriously poor speaker and does not represent us well, I'm afraid.

I am tired of supporting weak candidates who do not speak for me and make me proud to be a Democrat. I was not proud of John Kerry's campaign and i will not vote for him again. I now say the same about Mark Dayton.

I was just infuriated (not to mention horribly disappointed) that Dayton not only refused to challenge the Ohio electoral votes along with Boxer, he actually criticized her. If he had decided to be a wuss, why didn't he just shut up and hide with the other spineless Dem senators, instead of basically siding with the Republicans?? The irony might be that he did what he did because he's known to be a Repub target when he's up for reelection in '06, and he thought he could appease them somewhow. Damn fool, you can't appease them, they just keep beating on you. I think he hurt himself worse by dissing Boxer -- he sure won't get a damn nickel from me now. Franken in '06? Why not?

a repuke Senator speaking out against an electoral vote challenge made by a fellow repuke? Would never happen. All of them would be lined up speaking in total support of the challenge, railing against the "fraud" - that's what it would be called - "fraud." They wouldn't mince words and they wouldn't be talking about "inconvenience" either or assuring the Dems that they really did recognize the legitimacy of the election.

The Dems just don't get that they are in a game where there are no rules, the bullies and cheaters are in control, and they are getting their asses whipped.

or not they have principles and courage. Dayton had a lot more courage when he was 6 years away from re-election, than he has today.

Let's not reward "loyalty" over all other traits -- that is Bush's policy, not ours.

This Party needs better candidates. For example, maybe California should have thrown Gray Davis overboard before the electorate did. Maybe New York could have a Democratic Governor if we had some good candidates.

Dayton's main asset was money. We don't need monyed candidates anymore, the grass roots has shown we will fund candidates when we are so motivated. I am not motivated to support Mark Dayton one more day.
