But I digress. Little Boots has a mini medical complex at Crawford and receives specialized medical treatment which he requires on a continual basis. This explains why, frankly, he looked like total crap when he gave the statement. Even makeup cannot disguise his ill health.

...it is a euphemism for "medication adjustment." Some of those stronger drugs are hard to tolerate, they cause loginess, weight gain, and eliminate the highs and lows that happen in "normal" life, at least for some patients. He probably isn't super-compliant, and I'll bet he "forgets" to take his daily dosage if the Lump isn't around to remind him....

As for Osama, I think that dialysis thing is bullshit. I think they may have used it temporarily after a severe kidney infection (probably due to dehydration, very common in that end of the world) and he probably has weak kidneys, but I'll bet they haven't failed...and if they have, he probably bought a couple off some poor, well-matched Pakistani villagers.
