Awwww...is Rummy crying?
Hear all the sniffing in the background? That is his latest ploy to gain sympathy for his terrible judgement. Or maybe he just has a bad cold,(from laying awake nights worrying about the troops...yeah...right).

We must forgive him, y'all. That is the Christian way. Forgive him for not being sure that the soldiers were protected or had the appropriate armored vehicles. Forgive him for thinking that a name-stamping machine could do the job of conveying his "deep sympathy" for fallen soldiers. Forgive him for going into an unnecessary war with the "army he had, instead of the army he wanted."

This man is so full of BS...

6. He had to do something about the big bomb yesterday
express his condolences publicly. Since he has no possible way of actually preventing those things from happening.

7. He's such a compassionate, caring man
So says Stupidhead. I don't give a rat's ass if the Secretary of Defense is the nicest guy on the planet; if he's incompetent, he needs to be shown the door. "Nice" doesn't allow you to unbury your mistakes.

8. It sort of sounded like
a pullout of troops is in the works. He keeps talking about a "persistent presence" of Iraqis as protectors instead of American troops. Doesn't this give lie to his statements of about a year or so ago when he and Bush said this war would go on interminably. That we would have troops there for years and years to come?

I guess he is crying because he doesn't want to hand sign those 22 letters to the families of the killed soldiers.

He really sounded like a fool when he tried to explain why we couldn't even protect our own men on our own military base.

Powell: "If you break it, you own it!"
