Karl Rove: Political Adviser Or Minister Of Propaganda?
Terminology has so much influence over the way people think, and sometimes in order to make people see things differently you need to jigger the phrases around a little bit.

Take Karl Rove for instance. In any other society heading down the road toward a totalitarian dictatorship, an individual of Mr. Rove's singular importance to the regime would carry a far grander title than "political adviser." In similar early to mid-20th century societies an individual handed the important responsibility of molding public opinion to favor the policies and the person of a strongman was often referred to as a "minister of propaganda." Among other things.

So here's my question to you: Should Karl Rove be regarded as being little more than a "political adviser?" Or has his role within the Bush administration become something far more important, a "minister of propaganda" if you will?

6. Karl Rove is Machiavelli; without him Shrub would still be in baseball
Rove is co-master puppeteer with Cheney. Supposedly, Rove constantly rereads his Machiavelli. Karl Rove fell hard for Shrub the first time he saw him ( as a Harvard MBA student wearing boots, jeans, bomber jacket) when he was a lackey for George Herbert Walker Bush at the Repub National Committee. If Rove were more photogenic, he might have had a political career himself in the Gringrich vein. Behind the scenes, he has "killed off" Ann Richards and John McCain (who would have been the Repub candidate in 2000 without Rovian tricks in South Carolina) and John Kerry (Swift Boat Liars). Shouldn't the American people be aware of Rove's role since he is so influential in our lives? No Rove, no continuation of the Bush Dynasty (Regan/Bush (8 years); Bush I (4 years), Cheney/Rove/Shrub (8 years); Jeb in 2008?

And Joe Sixpack thinks Shrub is one of them. Voter: I see him cutting wood on his ranch, and he is just like me! (Yuppie Potemkim Village Ranch for a Western Whitehouse, no horses a la Reagan (afraid of them), and an expensive saw for chopping cedar photo ops.)
