8. CNN
reporting that Gep campaign person has suggested that Gephart will be pulling out. He was supposed to be on CNN tonight and he called a few minutes before airtime to say he would not come on the show.

13. Yep, that would be the one.
From St Louis, trust me, Geppy's supporters will go mostly to Kerry.

14. I'm afraid he's done
Where else does he stand a serious chance? I like Gep but I've never really seen him as a serious contender for president.

21. Don't forget the Dean/Osama ad that was placed by one of Gephardt's
supporters. I won't shed any tears for this jerk when he drops out. Perhaps Jimmy Hoffa will get Gep a job at a truck stop...

Gephardt's greatest accomplishment:

President, House Leadership Agree on Iraq Resolution

President George W. Bush along with bipartisan leaders from the House and Senate announced the Joint Resolution to authorize the use of the United States Armed Forces against Iraq. "The statement of support from the Congress will show to friend and enemy alike the resolve of the United States," President Bush said during the announcement in the Rose Garden, Wednesday, October 2, 2002. 22. Like Clark, Lieberman was not competing in Iowa
He's been campaigning in New Hampshire.

We'll see how he does next week.

19. Very premature, why would he not stay in at least a little while longer?
This was a caucus result not a primary. The rules and function of the Dem Iowa caucus are such that I really don't think you can make a concrete decision based on the results. Anything under 15% at any caucus site is either ignored or cannibalized by the more popular candidates. You can have 14% support and never make a single delegate.
