2. They'll Be At It for Awhile
Like maybe the next four years.

Until the Dem's take one house of Congress back, it might as well be 1935 -- in reverse. I think after the 1934 elections, there were only 17 Republicans in the Senate. We're not down that far, but without 51 votes in the Senate, or 219 in the House, we're sucking hind teat.

4. What kills me is they are still blaming Dem's
They are sore winners. The conservatives are still railing against the liberal elite when they control everything. The cable shows are still spewing hate toward the Democrats. It defies credulity. We need to turn that argument against them.

10. That isn't going to end
That is part of their strategy to keep the hate flowing. They need the country divided to stay in power. I thought Limbaugh wouldn't have anything to do after the election of 2000, but his job is to keep people hopped up on hate against libruls. If they don't keep the message flowing, someone might just stop and think for himself and realize Bush isn't going to do anything positive for the common man.

16. I don't mean to be rude
but if you thought Limbaugh wouldn't have anything to say after 2000, then you just haven't grasped what has happened in this country.

Have you listened to the PigMan lately? He is bragging that he IS the media. He KNOWS that the transformation into fascism is complete and he IS the spokesperson for the Fourth Reich.

The "common man?" Perhaps you don't know PigMan. Perhaps you don't know that the Fourth Reich has already stolen this country and that their media darling is basking in his achievement.

There is no going back. From this time forward, being a "liberal" is like wearing a triangle. If you don't know this, too bad.

18. You're right - no going back--but we can go forward
Time is immutable, change is inevitable.

Progress is a byproduct of the immutable and the inevitable.

19. Perhaps we all should just
...sew blue triangles on our coats now, and get it over with.

Actually, that might be an interesting political commentary to make. Maybe some enterprising fashion designer might run with it. Hell, I'd buy one. It's like a bumper sticker, only way more personal.

Better to die on your feet than live on your knees...

26. True, I was naive.
I thought Limbaugh's job was to dig at Clinton. I thought without a Clinton to dig at, he would be passe. I stand corrected, just because Limbaugh still stands.

I don't listen to Limbaugh, but I know he is out there -- Spewing Hatred -- Destroying our nation anyway he can. When Abe Lincoln met Harriet Beecher Stowe, he attributed the Civil War to her Uncle Tom book. We can attribute the Uncivil Divide that is tearing this country apart now to Mr. Limbaugh and his ilk. Hate-speak is a very powerful tool of destruction.

5. When the 2nd depression hits.
It took Bush 9 months of incompetence to allow 9/11 to happen. I give the American economy MAYBE another 10 months. If we're lucky.

9. No gloating accepted here! They're still counting in Ohio!
And today Jesse Jackson used the "F"(fraud) word at a news conference which was covered on Keith O's show. And today recounts in two more states were formally requested.
And several nations, as I understand, have begun drafting "War Crimes" papers against Bushco. A fact that was covered on MSM (CNN) this weekend by Bill Schneider.
Things are turning...
No more gloom!
It ain't over 'til it's over!

7. don't know...but my brother got all his gloating coughed up in one
huge phlegm ball over Thanksgiving. Maybe his gloating has come to an end, we shall see...

(sorry for the mucous reference - but that's what it was)

He said: The Dems should have come up with a stronger candidate, and chortled and snorted while asking who the Dems are going to put up in 2008.

He says Kerry is a proven traitor to the country and that he (my brother) gave money to the Swifties and bought their book.

He asked, sneering, what was Kerry's plan for Iraq? And followed up by saying Iraq infrastructure is in excellent condition now that bush has rebuilt it all - electric grid, water system and roads.

All told, he thinks bush is brilliant.

All told, my bro is a fascist, radical Christian who thinks it's okay to kill Palestinians and Iraqi's and their children because we 'have to do something about the Muslims worldwide,' but that abortion is the number one issue for him in the voting booth because he approves of bush's culture of life.

13. so true - he receives de-programming and massive info input when he's
with me, which is not often. I don't go for body blows, but do get him to sit there with his mouth hanging open, with no response forthcoming. All his arguments are simplistic and dittohead-esque - we have heard them all.

Why is it some men (? are there women like this, aside from Coulter?) glom onto the hatred and destruction fascists have to offer? He even revels at the thought of 'more war' and said the draft is coming, we need 500,000 more foot soldiers - to me - his sister with three draft age kids.

It's really sad and such a waste of an otherwise promising man.

I did kick him to the curb at every turn and gave him much food for thought along with turkey leftovers - I think you'd approve.

11. Not for a minimum of 50 months
I'm sorry to inform you. It might be different if there were any positive things the Sheeple could attribute to Shrubco, that were based on fact, and not just their ever-persistent bleating of falsehoods that they have bought into...

"How many attacks on American soil since 9/11?"
"He's a Christian, and a good man."
"He says what he means."
"Bring it on!"
"He's against abortion."

And my personal favorite:
"I'm better off now, because of his tax cuts."

The list could go on forever, but I'm sure I don't need to subject you to that. You obviously have had enough.

Just picture this when you need a good laugh. The fact that I witnessed a discussion as to whether or not the Dim One's profile could fit on Mt. Rushmore. When it was decided that this idea was not feasible, consensus was that a monument near Lincoln's in DC would be a fitting legacy.

When faced with the option of one or the other, I have to agree with their choice. I wouldn't have to spit so high.

The two are related, you know.

And the Busheviks are the Kinder and Gentler second-cousins to the Nazis and other more brutal Totalitarian mindsets.

When the Bushies hand Iraq over to a Shi'ite ayatollah. After begging him to take it.

Oh, and their prospects for '06 start looking just a little iffy, just a little hint of desperate....

25. More * on cars here now than before the "election"
some vicious diatribes on cars....one guy, who forgot his lithium, had a whole rear window filled with a slogan "al-gore, al-kerry, al-baldwin, etc" and how these "arab-lovers" should all move out of the country. I can't wait till they are broke and have their hate-mobiles repossessed.
