Dean Supporters - Clark Supporters Welcome You
I know there has been an inordinate amount of arrow-slinging between Dean and Clark camps in recent weeks. OK for the past two months. But look, the results are coming in and it ain't looking too great for Dr. Dean.

That aside, Clark supporters stand united with Dean supporters in getting Bush the hell out of office. And in terms of platforms, Clark is slightly to the left of Dean (just ask Michael Moore).

I know tonight is tough, but I'm extending this olive branch because I've grown to know and respect Dean supporters, and Clark + Dean camps would equal the biggest electoral tidal wave ever seen. Something to think about.

7. Thanks for the offer
But there are lots of primaries to go (and Iowa's not even done yet).

Besides, Kerry's my #2 guy.

Thanks, though.

12. Kerry's my 2nd choice too
But it will be interesting to see how things go in NH, since it is a primary and not a caucus.

But the fact is that Kerry and Clark are going to be fighting for the same demographics.

Kerry had two big factors going for him tonight... Clark wasn't running in Iowa and the Gephardt people bailed on Gephardt to join with Kerry.

Sort of an IWR squeeze play.

That's only something that can happen in a caucus state.

And I've support Kerry before Clark.

As a Dean supporter, I'm very disappointed and not offended by the offer. However, I will not give up until the fat lady sings, and if she does start to croak out a tune, I will support whomever the Dem nominee is. If Dean is doing this poorly, Clark is going to need some help (maybe--I could be wrong). It looks like in the case of Iowa, anyway, people are going for the more conventional, pro-war, pro-Patriot Act, Pro-Bush, luke warm Democratic candidates. If this happens in NH and elsewhere, then the only thing to look forward to is casting a half-hearted vote against Bush, and Bush will win, because if people are going to vote for war, they might as well vote for the best warmonger of the bunch. How disappointing and disheartening for the entire human race if this turns out to be the case.

On edit: I wanted to add that I think a Kerry/Edwards ticket would be a good one against Bush, but it's a hard one for me (easy against Bush, though) because I am so vehemently anti-war and opposed to every single Bush policy. I know many Kerry and Edwards supporters feel the same as I do about this war, and about Bush's policies, so it's not like where on opposite sides.

Some realigning may take place, but other than Gephardt, no one is out yet.

36. I Don't TRUST Clark
It's that simple.
The only way Clark gets MY vote is if he ends up te nominee, because I am still solidly ABB. No way in HELL does Clark get my vote in the primaries.
