The Non-Official Iowa Caucus Result Thread: Positive Vibe & Analysis Only
As of 6:47, with 0% Reporting it is a 10 Way Tie!

Damn, this is an exciting night!

The first big step in getting rid of BushCo!

To everyone who has fought for a candidate, or for information, or for the strange appeal of a horse race that will determine if us mammals are gonna make it...I applaud your interest and dedication.

It is on.

2. The NYTimes still has CMB on the ballet and apparently "Undecided" matters
and I thought it was funny.

3. And remember, a good man will win tonight.
Even if you (or I) don't completely agree with him.

Whatever happens, we're lucky. Look at what the Republicans got.

8. Our Democratic candidates --
-- have stirred a lot of people in Iowa to participate tonight. I hope it turns out to be a record caucus attendance and I hope that brainless ninny is Washington is paying attention.

The Iowans at caucuses tonight are inspired and mobilized Democrats and their noble aim is to haul George Bush's ass out of the White House.

Bravo, Iowa Democrats! Great voters to match great candidates!

13. A huge turnout
Is exactly what the repukes don't want to see, because it shows democrats are awake, active, and CARE once again. This is what hurt us in 2002 and 2000.

16. I'll spoil the thread..
With a negative vibe.

Bushco. have deliberately choosen to make the State of the Union speech right after the caucus to deflate the amount attention it would normally get.

However, NH is still right around the corner, and the eleventh hour tightening of the race has given the media a reason to ramp-up their coverage.

Good luck to all the candidates, may the best man win. :)

17. i don't know, yo
I think Chimpy's SOTU is going to be a tough sell, even for our whore media.

Iowa is the story today and tomorrow. Bush will get a smaller impact because of Iowa, I think...

21. Although that's true
That the SOTU would get a bigger play-up, it will also take some of the wind out of the sails of the Iowa winner's coverage. It was a strategic move on their part.

But as I said, with NH following on Iowa's heels, Bush will get knocked off the headlines quickly.
