Poll question: who's more evil: Karl Rove or Lee Atwater
I vote for Rove, since at least the stuff Atwater brought out against Dukakis was technically true, even if it a blatant distortion. Rove just plain makes shit up, against Democratic candidates in Texas, against McCain and against Kerry.

2. darth vader or darth sidious?
You're trying to grade shades of black here.

They're both evil, lying, unethical, immoral bastards, and way off any scale for evaluating real human beings.

4. I voted for rove
Atwater acted like a frat boy laughingly playing a game. He was amoral, only interested in "winning". He did have a death-bed epiphany, which if I were in charge of after-life, would not count. Rove seems the personification of evil....a Carrie getting even, no joy in the game, just sadism.

6. At least Atwater could play the guitar and didn't look like the
Pillsbury dough boy's evil twin. Didn't Atwater also have a death bed confession and repent or something? No chance of that happening with Dr. Evil.

7. Atwater at least seems to have had a concience
buried somewhere, and apparently felt remorse on his deathbed. I can't imagine that will ever be true of Karl Rove.

What if we all send negative energy his way and wish for him to meet a much worse fate than Lee Atwater...LIVER instead of brain(which is treatable)
Ironic isn't it..all those fundies are being manipuated by Satan himself? heh heh

13. Both men are cut....
from the same cloth. Lee Atwater knew that what he did was wrong--why else would he have written letters to Mike and Kitty Dukakis asking for their forgiveness when he was on his deathbed? FYI, Bush 41 hired them both when he was Chair of the RNC.

15. Since Atwater's dead, that gives Rove the edge...
But head-to-head and pound-for-pound, I'd rate Atwater more down-and-dirty, but Rove is more insidious and ingenious.

Even with Atwater above ground, points go to to Rove as the more dangerous.
