I took Monday through Wednesday off, so I could help with election stuff, and also so I could recuperate after Tuesday, which all of us pretty much thought was a shoo-in.

I got back to work yesterday, to find out that not only does my employer have it's own PAC, but that PAC officially endorsed George W. Bush on behalf of the company.

They sent a state by state list of all their federal and state endorsements - of course, with a little disclaimer at the bottom that everyone should vote their conscience - but the message was clear: If you appreciate getting a paycheck, vote for these people.
