Nicholas Kristof wrote a column in which he explained that Bush isn’t a liar.. Kristof proved his point with a meaningless story about a stuffed animal, a story from Bush’s autobiography.

“Like President Ronald Reagan, reality to Bush is not about facts, but about higher meta-truths,” the pensive pundit explained.

“To clarify those overarching realities, Mr. Bush harnesses ‘facts,’ both true and false.”

1. They really are creating their own reality--facts mean nothing to them

Randi Rhodes said a few weeks ago that Bush told someone early in his term that they create their own reality and while we are studying what they have done and intellectualizing they will create other new realities. Damn if they didn't do it on the grandest scale ever with this election. And what are we doing? Studying it. And what will they do? Move on to another "reality."

That "journalists" buy into this deception and that there is mass network of people who support them in stealing democracy is what's most discouraging. Bush can't do this alone.
