Somewhere along the line it has gotten lost that this is also the party that created Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security, student loans and grants, the minimum wage, federally insured home mortgages, the tax deduction for mortgage interest, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Clean Air Act, the CLean Water Act, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Education.....IS ANY OF THIS GETTING THROUGH???? I could keep going. REPUBLICANS OPOSED EVERY ONE OF THESE PROGRAMS!
