say you live in a solid blue state (like IL, where I am). Would it be possible to pass a resoultion decreeing that everyone in your state will withhold from his/her fed income tax whatever % of the fed budget will go to OIF? any chance of getting something like this to fly? If the 50 million of us who voted against the war yesterday refuse to pay for it, what would happen?
