Depressed, sad and bitter
That is how I feel today...and I feel so very badly not only for democrats across America - but for the world in general.

Kerry conceded - after thinking about it for awhile, it became clear to me why. How could he reasonably govern where the republicans control the senate and the congress - definitavely. He couldn't - and we all know that. Within months there would be calls for his impeachment on whatever flimsy excuse they could come up with - it would mean the total collapse of the democratic party. Maybe my interpretation is inaccurate - but concede today to fight again another day.

What is paramount in this struggle is that you do not abandon your country or your party. The principle ideology guiding the democrats is a sound one. It is NOT irrelevant and 49 percent of the nation felt the same way. Now, more than ever, we need to hear your voices over the din of republican gloating, theocratic ideology and persistant warmongering.

So, we all know who lost - but who won??? My thoughts go immediately to the corporate cronies that corrupt government for their own greed. It is so very vital that we continue to hear your voices of dissent in what will be turbulent times ahead. You see - true desperation occurs when your voice is lost. In those moments of horrific silence, truly awful things happen - and desperate people do desperate things...we have only to look to Al quada and know that this is true.

So fight on my friends. Battle for the TRUTH. Battle for the NEEDY. Battle for the POOR. I guess I am rambling on....

1. My only consolation
is that Bush will now have to clean up his own mess, and it ain't gonna be pretty.

Other than that, I feel absolutely horrible today.

2. All I hope is that the next four years ...
... teaches America the Ignorant Slut™ a lesson.

She needs one.
