I'm consistently reminded of Stephanopoulos in "The War Room"...
...on the phone, goofy grin on his face, as the returns came in in '92:

"Landslide."

:D

1. I'm not religious, but
I have thought this many times: "Your lips to God's ears!"
Perhaps I am. My mom is up there and she would be voting for Kerry!

2. Those are my thoughts exactly..
My Mom, who passed away last September, was a staunch Democrat who would be voting for Kerry also. One of her favorite sayings was also "from your mouth to God's ears." Maybe my Mom is up there with yours just waiting to celebrate on Tuesday night.

3. And they knew EARLY in the day, The exit polling was faxed to him
in the afternoon, and he read it and started saying "Oh my god" and looking for Carville and Begala.

Then they went, in the middle of the afternoon, for a burger and a "Busch" beer to celebrate because they KNEW.

I love that documentary!

4. Still a big Stephanopoulos fan.
Young, intelligent, successful -- the bastard.

And the "Judas" tag after the All Too Human book was ridiculous. I actually read it, and you'd have to have NOT read it and/or been rigidly partisan to have not appreciated it.

6. Thanks, Paragon
I've been wanting to ask about "All To Human" I'm a rabid Clinton fan who was hypersensitive to any criticism of him. I liked George's book. It made me like the Clinton's even more. It made them seem, well, more human.

7. War Room is on TV Monday night. :)
Note: I know IFC is on Dish Satellite Network. IFC's web site leaves a lot to be desired in trying to find out if any other satellite networks or cable stations carry it. If you have it on something other than Dish, please make a post to let others know. Thanks.

SOLDIERS PAY
Airs at 9:35pm, 12am, and 2:15am ET
Monday, November 1

IFC is proud to present the World Television Premiere of "Soldiers Pay," a documentary from acclaimed directors David O. Russell ("I Heart Huckabees"), Tricia Regan, and Juan Carlos Zaldivar.

Originally shot by Russell as an extra for the special DVD release of his film "Three Kings," "Soldiers Pay" was later removed at the studio's request. "Soldiers Pay" presents viewpoints on the war in Iraq from all sides of the spectrum, including veterans, Iraqis who rose up against Saddam after the Gulf War, journalists, politicians, psychologists and a two-star general who led the U.S. Marines to victory in the Gulf War.

THE WAR ROOM
Airs at 8pm, 10:15pm, and 12:35pm ET
Monday, November 1

Acclaimed documentarians Chris Hegedus ("Startup.com") and D. A. Pennebaker ("Don't Look Back") give us an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the workings of a presidential campaign as they follow Bill Clinton and his staff on the road to the election of 1992.
