attention poll workers or any of you who know poll workers....
It has come to my attention that a number of people are unaware of the rule about NOT wearing campaign gear (tshirts, caps, etc) to the polls. It would be a GOOD IDEA for you all to have on hand several CHEAP tshirts that you could loan out to people to slip over their Kerry shirts in the event it should (and probably will) happen. This would be especially nice for voters who be inconvenienced by having to go back home after waiting in line for a long while. We do not want to lose any votes because of an honest error in election dress codes.
4. I hope we can make as many people as possible...
aware of this. I am going to take a couple of cheap tshirts so that if anyone needs to borrow one to slip over their K/E shirts while they go inside to vote it will be convenient. We don't want to lose any votes over this issue.
I plan on keeping a sweater or two there for this occasion.
BTW, TALKING about who you are voting for counts too. I've had freepers try to campaign in line by talking loudly between themselves about the latest RW rumor they herad about a candidate.
6. i've got myself a nice solid BLUE T-SHIRT i'll be wearing to the city
clerk's office today so i can vote... since i'll be out of town WORKING TO DRIVE VOTERS TO THE POLLS ON TUESDAY. i actually have two of them... one for Tuesday too. 8^)
