9. He won't..
His lawyers will be filing lawsuits for days to try to get it to the SC so they can overturn it, and he won't give a concession speech.

39. no concession - it'll be a speech about "uniting in a troubled time"
The speech is already written. Well, sorta - it's just a rehash of other blah-blah he's already used.

Normally can't stand to watch him.

If(a very strong if) he does give a speech, I doubt it will be a concession speech. Just a bunch of excuses for the campaign, none of which will be his fault.

about how his mother was a saint? I vaguely remember seeing archive footage of him rambling.

IF he does a speech, he'll make Cheney stand next to him like he did at the hearings.

I've had a bottle of Moet in the fridge since 2000 just waiting...waiting...for that moment. I think Moet will go very well with that speech, regardless of what he says. Even if the champagne has somehow gone flat - it'll still taste like ambrosia!

35. My gut tells me...
...that 45% of the popular vote and nearly 200 electoral votes is in fact all that's needed for me to be elected President again. I'm positive I won, and as we all know the only mistakes I ever make is in appointing people who later turn on me like jackals. I look forward to serving another four yea-- Hey! Who are these guys in the white coats?! I'm the President, dammit! I'm the President! I am Kirok!"

"We all thought God was infallible. Right now we don't know the facts. We are investigating the matter and will let you know when we have something to report. Meanwhile, Senator Kerry should refrain from any sort of communication with God, especially thanking Him, until further notice from us."

37. He'll call the Kerry numbers an "eggs-zaa-jer-RAY-shun."
That is...IF he concedes. I suspect he might send someone else out to do it. He has NEVER allowed himself to be photographed in the context of bad news. He's never gone to a single GI's funeral. It took him all week to turn up in New York after 9/11, and that was merely to posture on the rubble pile with that stupid megaphone. He won't want to step out of his precious bubble for this, certainly. It would take a fully-grown, fully-realized, mature, thinking and reasoning adult to do that. And he is none of those things. Maybe he'll send Karen Hughes out to do it. Or Dan Bartlett. Or maybe his dad will have to tidy this up for him. Or Jim Baker. Or Scott McClellan.

I wonder where cheney will be spending election night. If he and bush are not together, that's key, I think. That's a tip-off that they know they're doomed. When daddy was trounced by bush, I remember the commentary by some reporters and pundits saying it was significant that dan quayle went back to Indiana to watch the returns, rather than hang with his partner, ghwb and watch it together. That was a signal that they knew they'd probably lose.

Interestingly enough, when Edwards was on Larry King a few days ago, and was asked where he's going to spend election night, he answered "probably in Boston." If he thought it wasn't gonna go well, he'd be back home in his own comfort zone.

40. Remember Budd Dwyer?
I wouldn't wish harm on anyone, but Bush strikes me as a person who can't handle defeat that same sort of way. If he brings a large envelope with him to the podium, someone should restrain him for his own safety.

But it probably is seriously similar to what he'll end up saying:

"Aaaa . . .er . . . wow, thank you . . . heh heh . . . It's, a, it's been a long campaign, huh? I just want to thank, er, all my supporters, all those who who went out and voted for me . . . I appreciate it. Really I do. Erm . . . also want to thank Senator Kerry for his, er . . . work. It was a good campaign and I look forward to working with him on trans-terans-moving forward. It's been a memorable couple of years. It's a time I'll always remember. Full of memories . . . (things get kind of quiet in the room. Bush tears up a bit) I can't wait to get back to muh ranch, spend time with Laura and muh girls . . . anyway. Thanks again and may G-d bless America."

PETER JENNINGS BREAKS IN: "We now go live to Faneuil Hall where President-elect John Kerry will be momentarily giving his victory speech . . ."

(Faneuil Hall is just where I picture it happening . . . not sure if that's actually where it's going to be)
