Hardball going with MSNBC numbers
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 09:11 PM by Demfromct
I like Matthews, but they only show MSNBC poll numbers. Makes no sense.

Crawford killing Mitchell. There is no evidence outside of Mason-Dixon that is a trend is going on for Bush. I knwo they haven't
got CNN Gallup numbers, wonder what they would say.

Crawford was unusually strong disagreeing with MItchell. I wonder if it is because he is referring to other polls. Interesting question, does a poll a news organizaation takes, to what extent does that control the debate in its news analysis?

3. "I like Matthews" you are definitely in the minority here!
There is a reason for his use of those poll munbers.

saying it's Kerry's election to lose at this point. his Dad's also a Democrat that worked the phone banks for Kerry.

5. Someone did an analysis of the Mason-Dixon battleground polls
a few weeks ago and found that IN EVERY CASE Mason-Dixon had Bush performing better in the states surveyed than the average of other polls done in those states. In a couple of states, the difference was negligible, but in the vast majority the gap was several points or more.

If the election goes as I think it will, I suspect MSNBC will find another pollster to do their polls in 2008.

11. I did the same personal analysis of CNN/usa todat/Gallup and other
Polls, and CNN comglob, Mason Dixon, and quinnipiac all heavilly favored Bush. I don't pay them any mind.

8. When they say the polls are trending towards the Shrub
they are including Zogby. Also CBS, TIPP, Fox, AP and others. I'm sure that Buchanan was referring to this poll of polls often quoted by pundits:

9. This show is a joke
They're talking about gay marriage and abortion now, and the Catholic vote. Everybody seems to forget that John Kerry is Catholic.
