Kerry Should Start Talking Mandate

On Tuesday lets make it clear that we are ready for change, that as President I can act to reverse course on George W. Bush's disastrous policies and decisions.

Give me a mandate to take the war on terror directly to Osama Bin Laden.

Give me a mandate to seek to rebuild our tarnished reputation in the world - and once again unite with our allies in the global battle against terror - as well as enlist their support in Iraq where we are currently quagmired.

Give me a mandate to help make the nations of the world united again - as they were after September 11th, until this President squandered it all, and turned his back on his repetitively advertised pledged to bring everyone together.

Give me a mandate to rebuild this economy. No President should win re-election if he has not been able to create more jobs than he has lost. No President should be re-elected that creates the largest defecits in the history of the country after the unprecedented gains we made and a budget surplus - imagine that - with our policies in the Clinton Administration.

Give me a mandate to get cheaper prescription drugs, and healthcare you've been promised for decades.

Give me a mandate to make the Environment a priority again.

Give me a mandate to offer a healing hand towards those we have been locked in terrible partisan political battles with - that have been so destructive for this great country.

Give me clear mandate - and I will make you proud, America - as this country should be of it's leaders - proud of my work ethic, and my overwhelming determination to turn this great ship around - and face what we must face and win - together.
