Kerry's Two Responses To OBL Tape

One was a rather weak (in my opinion), and overly partisan, response on a TV interview with a NH station i believe.

The other was a "do over" from an airport tarmac at West Palm Beach and was more pointed and clear. Here it is -

In response to this tape from Osama bin Laden, let me make it clear, crystal clear. As Americans, we are absolutely united in our determination to hunt down and destroy Osama bin Laden and the terrorists. They are barbarians. And I will stop at absolutely nothing to hunt down, capture or kill the terrorists wherever they are, whatever it takes. Period.

and we will see to it that a sovereign Palestinian state is established, and we will stop funneling money and weapons into Israel.

I really really really want to hear your plan for this "sovereign" Palestinian state. I notice you didn't include the word "viable."

Now, if we cut off Israel and fund the Palestinians, WHAT do you see happening?

Or don't you plan to fund the Palestinians because you feel their loving Arab neighbors should pick up that burden?

You seem to know how to solve this problem and I'm wondering what your plan is, aside from a massacre of millions of Israelis.

6. I'm not saying favor the Palestinians, I am saying treat them the same

Why does Israel deserve to be treated one way and Palestine another?

As to what it would accomplish, aside from cessation of suicide attacks and and soldiers mowing down Palestinian children, aside from Israelis worrying if their cross-town bus will blow up today, or Palestinians being cut off by a big wall from food, water, and medical attention, it would go a long way toward improving relations with the Muslim world at large.

Or were you unaware that many terrorist groups cite the corraling of the Palestinians into a concentration camp as a reason for their attacks?

Was part of his speech earlier today which is exactly what he's been saying for days now and was before the OBL tape. The comment on the tarmac was his official statement.

the point that the Iraq war has distracted our military from getting this schmuck He should point out that Shrub has had 3 years to "smoke him out," and yet there he is, thumbing his nose at us on TV. Make the linkage explicit: Sadaam is in jail, Bin Laden is on TV.

First, talk about unity and then once the initial passion and frenzy over the tape subsides, hit back with the logical recounting of Chimp's failures.
