Doctored Bush Commercial Fakes # Of Blacks Standing Behind Him
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 05:47 PM by bigtree
That's why they phonied it up. No other reason. This should bury them with minorities. I think this may be worth highlighting in the next few days. The media has already started. This should throw Bush off any last minute message.

Bush Campaign Acknowledges Ad Was Doctored

A video image of a Bush campaign ad entitled 'Whatever It Takes,' released Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, shows a doctored photograph of soldiers the President was addressing. The Bush campaign acknowledged Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, that the original image was edited to remove both the president and the podium where he was standing, just left of the center of the frame, and group of soldiers in the crowd was electronically copied to fill in the space, (AP Photo/Bush-Cheney 2004)

2. They needed to match the manufactured minority support in the Gallup Poll
with a visual image. Didya catch the convention crowd shots? This is not America.

4. Look at this BS quote
"There was an editing error in the photo on the bottom left-hand corner. The presidential podium blocks people and that part of the podium was removed and some pictures of additional soldiers were put back in were corrected in the editing error," Mehlman said, adding that the unedited version will now be broadcast.

Convenient "editing error" magically enhances number of minority supporters. Sure. Right. Nothing to see here. Move on.
