I heard on NPR tonight that 100 Hispanics have to appear tonight

in south Georgia to prove their US citizenship.

Some bad loser from the summer primaryt has challenged their right to vote on their ethnicity alone.

They were interviewing a Hispanic guy who was born in Texas 30 years ago.

Nice.

I pray their heavy-handed tactics will backfire on them mightily.

I can hear it - "I need everyone with a Mexican name to prove they are a citizen." The guy that was interviewed said he was going to make doofus prove he was NOT A citizen. I'm surprised this hasn't happened in Texas yet (where I live!)

9. The Hispanic man

had a heavy southern accent, was born in Texas. Sounded just like the other good ole boys. This was clearly racially motivated. The man they interviewed said he knew it was the challengers job to prove he was not a US citizen, so he was going to watch them try to do that.
