do you think rove will engineer a terror attack
so they can claim its an attempt to influence the election, a la spain? The hope being, of course, for a pro-bush backlash? I'm not usually a tinfoil hat kinda guy, but I'm beginning to think these guys are nearing the point of desparation, and desparate folks do desparate things.

1. Of course he will, if...
...their confidential polls show that Bushy boy is too far behind to let them steal it.

Rove will call a "terrorist" attack on Washington DC. Martial law will be declared, and the elections will be postponed until "order is restored."

Or until hell freezes over.

4. NO, you give him too much power.
And even if he tries, if you haven't noticed, everything he's tried to pull for the last 2 years has gone to shit.

He's not worth the hype.

What a joke.

5. ha ha ha! I'm looking forward to the last of the tinfoil posts
When we hit November 3 and there's still no terror attacks on us, I hope a few of yall tinfoilers realize how stoopid you've been. They're corrupt and incompetent, but not the devil incarnate, not some movie or comic book villain. Sorry, Rove has already done his October surprise... and it was a dud, just like the monkey he and Rehnquist installed four years ago.

Of course in a few months I expect you tinfoilers to be talking about how Kerry is part of the BFEE and a Skull-n-Boner and that the neocons are back running the government and how there is no real democracy in the New World Order.

But please vote for him this time around anyway, please.

6. Well, Rove did Personally Fly The Planes on 9/11...
I fail to see how Karl Rove would even be capable of "engineering a terror attack." Rove is just a political operative. He may be an evil genius in campaign dirty tricks, but he has no military capability.

7. They've made too many enemies in high places...
...and inspired too much suspicion to pull it off.

10. I'm so worried about Rove that I googled him all day....
What an evil man. I will never trust the Christian Wrong again because of that jerk. I had google alert me once a day on new finds for Rove, I'm just waiting for something to happen--even wondered if this explosives issue is a Rathergate, like Ann Coulter was trying to argue. Gag me.

11. Desperate Measures....
I'm sure we've all had wild thoughts running through our heads of the most absolute extreme measures they would resort to..

I seriously think that if Kerry is rocking and rolling in the last couple of days, that Bush would do something REALLY extreme to try and gain last minute "national sympathy" support.

I've imagined them setting up a bogus situation at a rally to take place.. But I don't even want to repeat what I've thought they'd stoop to for fear that Rove is searching this site for ideas!

12. I don't think Rove can pull that off, BUT
Dick Cheney certainly can.

Honestly, would you be shocked at this point to learn that Cheney engineered the WTC attacks? I'm not saying he did, of course....
