Dear Senator Kerry,

The bright beacon of American democracy has become quite dim over the last four years. Many of us are genuinely worried that our nation is becoming a fascist state, ruled by people who have no regard for the institutions, history, and sense of fairness that all good Americans have contributed toward for over 225 years. We are in grave danger of losing everything our parents and their parents have worked so hard to achieve. Most of all, we as a people are losing our ability to discern truth and justice, so often are they clouded or cloaked by outrageous and scandalous behavior that seeks power over all, for the benefit of only a few.

You could very well be our last hope, and that is why you must win. Your honor and decency will set a shining new example for millions to emulate. Your intelligence and determination to always do the right thing will strike fear into the hearts and minds of those who chose to destroy our nation for the good of only themselves. Your opponent sees the world in simple terms of good versus evil, and on this point alone is he even remotely capable of understanding reality, for he is evil, and you are good. He is Hitler compared to our greatest generation. He is Saddam compared to innocent Iraqis who have seen their homes and families destroyed. He cares nothing about the plight of the poor in our own land, while you carry the burden of all of us in your heart.

You must win. You must win.
