Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 06:41 PM by mtnester
A building divided....in Fairfield County, Ohio, both call centers for Dems and Repubs are in the same building....

watch so you can see how it is here in my neck of the woods...every Kerry/Edwards sign in one town disappeared last weekend...every one.

5. Fairfield - I am waiting to hear back from MoveOn.pac
Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 06:42 PM by mtnester
went to training last week, cause I was identified as living in a precinct that has a record of Dems being lazy...have not heard back yet, but SOME good news, the 3 local repubs who filed challenges on 500 voters here withdrew them all today...since the local paper published their NAMES and ADDRESSES last week..they made the internet in less than 2 hours...wonder how much hate mail they got.

If you want to help, contact Election Protection...Fairfield County is not on a poll watch, and Franklin County is covered, but they need help other places. Or contact Dem HQ

10. In fact any city in Ohio with a high percentage of African Americans
are where you will find the likely democratic voters we need to increase turnout among.

6. I grew up in Pickerington
That used to be a serious repug stronghold.
But there has been a sea change since I left town.
Lancaster wasn't much better as I recall.
What area are you working?

11. I'm glad to hear there's still a few progressives left
around there. I might even know you. I graduated Pickerington high school in '87. I know Baltimore well. Lot's of old friends are from Batimore.
I've even thought about comin up to my old stomping grounds but it's a long way from Tx.
I'll have to help GOTV in NM.
I miss Ohio.
Never thought I'd say that 15 years ago.
Texas will do that to you.

8. Lancaster
I drove through Lancaster last week, and saw about 10 houses in a row with Kerry signs. I am not exagerating at all, it was atleast 10, maybe more. It was great. I was in Worthington earlyer that day and saw a ton of Kerry signs there as well.
