that Bush* could win the popular vote, and still lose in the EC.

2. they floated the same crap last time
and the reverse happened. there was outrage t the possibility that gore would win elec college and lose pop vote. then when the opposite happened the silence was deafening.

7. He beat Dole in the popular vote
but he didn't win a majority of it. Most of the country voted for someone other than Clinton (Perot, Nader, etc) but more people voted for Clinton than did for anyone else.
